2026 marks my 10th solo exhibition Odysseys since I had the opportunity to pick up brushes again at Pothmeor studios in St Ives, Cornwall in 2013. A subsequent chance encounter led to exhibiting a small collection of paintings in 2014. Since then I have exhibited widely in Cornwall, London, Edinburgh and Salisbury.

The first is Portals with the Vanner Gallery in Salisbury 14 April - 17th May, 2026 and the second is Odysseys, 24 September-26 October with Cornwall Contemporary Gallery in Penzance. A milestone exhibition representing a 10 year collaboration with gallery and my 10th solo exhibition. To coincide with the exhibition a second book about my paintings and creative process is being published. David Mankin Language of Paint. Looking further ahead in 2027 I'll be returning to the &Gallery in Edinburgh for solo exhibition, Edgelands.
